Camila, '29
Data Science, ’29
San Pedro Sula, Honduras
Why You Chose º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø: I chose º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø because I wanted to attend a school that gives students opportunities to grow and gain hands on experience throughout their college years. Its STEM only focus also stood out to me because it aligns with my interests and allows me to develop skills I enjoy.
Diego, '27
Major, Computer Science ’27
Havana, Cuba
Why You Chose º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø:
I chose º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø for the STEM only aspect of this university, how modern and refined everything looked, and the IST was designed by Santiago Calatrava. My family really likes him as an architect.
Gwyn, '27
Major, ’27
Fort Wayne, IN
Why You Chose º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø:
I was drawn in by the uniquely “nerdy community and how easy it was to make friends, as well as the pure STEM focus academically. However, I stayed here because of the many amazing opportunities I’ve had that I never would’ve thought possible!

Chandler, ’27
Computer Science, ’27
Eleuthera, BahamasÂ
Why You Chose º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø:
I chose º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø because I was always fascinated with computers, especially game development. º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø’s focus on all STEM degrees and emphasis on hands-on learning drew me to the university. Opportunities to create games through game jams and Game Expo ultimately sealed the deal.

Applied Mathematics, ’27
St. Petersburg, FLÂ
Why You Chose º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø:
I chose FL Poly because I recognized there is a strong sense of community here and I value the university’s focus on STEM. I couldn’t be happier with my choice.
Brady, ’27
Electrical Engineering, ’27
Palmetto, FL
Why You Chose º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø:
I really appreciated the lowkey and respectful nature I saw in the student body when I came for a Game Expo. Of course the STEM focus is a bonus, but if the community wasn’t what it is then I would not have come to Poly.

Miami /Tampa, FL
Why You Chose º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø:
I chose º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø because I liked the hands-on learning environment and the smaller class sizes. I felt that having fewer students made it easier to connect with professors, and I appreciated that they took the time to help when I needed it. The people there were also very kind and welcoming, which made the campus feel comfortable and inviting. Another important factor was the affordability, since I wanted to receive a quality education without putting myself into significant debt. The amount of 3D printing equipment available was also a huge bonus, especially because I was interested in designing and actually building things.
